SACAC Soccer Season 3 is a new program that offers this sport for those who wish to continue playing in the spring season. This year it is set-up for boys and girls of ages up to 12, teamed-up in the following age groups; 8U, 10U & 12U
In conjunction with the CFL -Community Football League, this program will offer young boys and girls the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge of the game in a fun, team-oriented manner. There will be no recording of match results, no league tables and more importantly, no "winning at all costs" mentality. It is a co-ed league but if we get enough sign-ups, we will do our best to form all-girls teams due to special requests.
Each child/team will play 4-5 games (10-15 minutes each) in a tournament/game style every other Sunday from 3-5pm at Singapore's best junior football facility - The Rainforest Sportshub, Turf City.
Games/Tournaments will be played against other school based teams, including the German School, Hollandse School, St Joseph International School, Canadian International Schools, NPS International School and many local schools.
This Sunday only season will start on February 1st with a practice at SAS and the first game/tournament on February 8th at Turf City.
The season will run for 16 weeks with 2 hour long games and 1 hour practices, alternating every other Sunday.

COACHING AND PARENT INVOLVEMENT:
Coaching is a great way to get involved and it also helps keep costs down so that more participation is encouraged. Team Parents are also very important for each team to have snacks, and although practice sessions are not too long, it helps build comradery between the players and help with team building. We need your help to keep this league alive and successful! We need your support, so if you are interested, please choose a volunteer role when you register your player.
Note: If your player/team does not want a Volunteer Coach and choses to go with an APSM Coach, or we cannot find a High School Soccer Player to volunteer coach on Sundays, your team will have to pay an extra fee for the coaching service for the season. ($300 per player, for the entire season)
CFL - Community Football League
The CFL is headed by German coach Ulli Niedermeyer, who has been active in Singapore over the last 20 years, with coaching stints in the Singapore National League and many will remember him as Head Coach & Phys. Ed. Teacher at United World College of S.E. A. until 2003.
The CLF and APSM-Asia Pacific Sports Management coaching team will be especially selected from a staff of 35 qualified Soccer coaches for all games and tournaments. These Coaches are professionally experienced and trained to conduct high quality sessions with an emphasis on skill, fun, motor development and lots of teamwork!
